Performance & Upgrades

This is the fun stuff. Whether you're building a weekend warrior, adding bolt-ons to your daily, or setting up a truck for towing and off-road duty, we love helping people build their vehicles the right way. We install aftermarket parts, tune for performance, and make sure everything works together as a system - not just bolted on and hoped for the best.

Warning Signs

Signs You Need Performance

Don't ignore these - they usually mean it's time for performance.

You're Not Getting the Power You Expected

Installed a cold air intake and exhaust but it still feels stock? Bolt-ons without a proper tune often leave power on the table. The ECU needs to be recalibrated to take advantage of the increased airflow, or you might actually be running worse than stock.

New Parts Are Causing New Problems

If aftermarket parts are triggering check engine lights, creating vibrations, or causing clearance issues, the installation may need revisiting. Not all parts play well together, and some kits need modifications to fit properly.

You Want More from Your Vehicle

Maybe your truck needs more capability for towing, your car needs better handling for spirited driving, or you just want it to sound better. That's not a warning sign - that's an opportunity. Come talk to us about what you're after.

Suspension Feels Off After Modifications

Lifting a truck or lowering a car changes geometry - alignment, driveline angles, bump steer, and ride quality are all affected. If things don't feel right after a modification, something likely needs adjustment or an additional supporting mod.

Your Build Is Stalled Out

Projects get stuck. Maybe you ran into a fitment issue, don't have the tools for a specific step, or just need experienced hands to finish the job. We're happy to jump in at any stage and help you get across the finish line.

Our Process

How Every Job Goes

No surprises. No hidden charges. Here's the playbook.

1

Consult & Plan

We start by understanding your goals - more power, better handling, towing capability, or a specific build vision. We'll help you plan a mod path that makes sense and avoids wasting money on parts that don't work well together.

2

Review & Quote

We'll look at the parts you've chosen (or help you pick the right ones), check fitment for your specific vehicle, and give you a labor estimate. We're honest about what a mod will and won't do for your vehicle.

3

Install & Build

We install everything properly - torqued to spec, wired correctly, plumbed right, and clearanced where needed. If something doesn't fit as advertised, we'll work through the solution rather than force it.

4

Tune & Verify

After installation, we verify everything works together. That means test drives, checking for codes, verifying boost levels, checking alignment after suspension work - making sure the mods actually deliver what they promise.

$120/hr

vs $145 local average - you save $25/hr

Lean operation. No showroom overhead. Same quality - you just don't pay for the fancy waiting room.

Performance FAQs

Common Questions

That's what we're here for. We're fully BYOP-friendly - most of our performance customers source their own parts. Just keep in mind that our warranty covers our labor, not the parts themselves. If something doesn't fit right, we'll let you know before proceeding.

Turbo kit installations vary widely - a bolt-on kit for a vehicle that was already offered with a turbo option might be 8-12 hours of labor. A custom turbo setup on a naturally aspirated engine is a much bigger project. At $120/hr, we'll scope the job and give you a realistic estimate.

For basic bolt-ons like an intake or exhaust on a modern vehicle, the ECU can often adapt. But if you're stacking mods, adding forced induction, or want to maximize your gains, a proper tune is almost always worth it. Without one, you're leaving performance (and reliability) on the table.

Absolutely. Whether you're starting from scratch or halfway through a project, we can help you prioritize mods, avoid compatibility issues, and build a plan that matches your budget and goals. We've built enough vehicles to know what works and what's a waste of money.

Yes - we're happy to work on project vehicles at any stage. Whether it needs to be trailered in or it's a partial build that needs finishing, we'll take a look and discuss what's needed. We understand project cars aren't always on a deadline, and we'll work with your timeline.
